Sketchbook Scans
Sketchbook Scans
I finally got the bright idea of gettting a seperate backpack to hold my sketchbook, pens, pencils, eraser and pencil sharpener. That way, I can always have it with me when I find myself with an occasion out in public to do some drawing. While at the Moreno Valley Wind Ensemble’s October concert I was able to draw the man with the pony tail (Kenny Gin) who is maried to my cousin. My favorite one was of the last image of the red man in the chair. He was sitting in the audience with me and was not fooling around with his phone. I do get weary of those sorts of subjects, always staring mindlessley into the void or listening to some obnoxiously loud video, oblivious to how annoying it is to everyone else present.
Drawing with a pen is particularly challenging, as I have to be very decicive and commited to getting it right, and so many times the drawings look bad, but that one worked. I usually prefer pencil, as I can erase any mistakes, but pen teaches you to be bold!
