The next exciting installment of

The Adventures of Gonj & Duby

should be up next Monday.

This week, please enjoy some sketchbook scans from my U.C. Riverside Fast Sketching class, taught by Mike Sheehan.  This class helped me improve my drawing skills by teaching me to start every drawing loosely, by holding my pencil loosely at the end rather then close to the tip with a death grip.  Mike said that all artists should at some point in their journey make an effort to loosen up.  He also said that if you start tight, you have no where to go, but if you start loose, you can always tighten up your drawing as you go.   That’s him in the first sketch.  Great advice!

Peace my homies!
