I’m back in the habit of taking a sketchbook with me when I know that I will be sitting around waiting….like my Mona’s appointments.  And most of the drawings are just very rough but there’s always a few that I want to save.

And I love copying other peoples artwork…my own drawings tend to be very 2 dimentional and static, so I look for very expressive/dynamic things to copy, and then I try to emulate that style in my own drawings.

Sometimes when I am drawing (live in waiting rooms) I force myself to draw fast and loose, and then I get what Bob Ross called “Happy Accidents”, and the drawing is unique and fun.  My favorite ones here are the sleeping and stretchy girls.  Now back to working on the next episode of the Adventures of Gonj and Duby….Peace my homies!
