Greetings dear readers!  This week’s comic is not ready, so I am pleased to offer these sketchbook scans.  I always find it amusing that when I am out and about (with sketchbook in hand) especially at Mona’s Kaiser visits, that almost without exception everyone in the waiting rooms are on their cell phones.  This is helpful as they are never aware that I am drawing them.   (Photo of the lady with her cell was from Kaiser Lab and you can see my sketch on the first red page.   The other one you can see my copy on the purple page, from the Asian Comics exhibit at the Bowers Museum)) And I have discovered that marionettes are fun to draw, as they are usually very articulated and also have very expressive faces.

I hope to have the next installment of the adventures of Gonj & Duby ready soon!
